I visited Los Angeles for the first time last week. I needed to sample the energy. I’m glad I visited, some of my experiences will show up in these tiny poems.
Center seat, no room
Arms, legs, invading my space
Trapped with no escape
Some places shrink you
Others allow you to fit
Visit the latter
Unexpected emotion
A rise of smothered feelings
Blue tear drops of joy
No shame in grieving
Your worst parts when they are gone
They were part of you
One person’s music
Is another’s pain, time for
Eardrum sympathy
Bonus: Photos from Los Angeles
I really enjoyed the view!
"ear drum' sympathy....nice choice of words. And 'smother' .....
