Haiku-ville
Week 2
This is the second Haiku-ville post. These tiny poems aren’t thematic in anyway. They are inspired in the moment then captured for later. I enjoy non-traditional Haiku’s because they restrict form but not content. Syllable math is fun!
This Week’s Haiku Collection
To write a beauty
Recipient or poem
Do both at one time
Near the things you love
Danger may reside, disguised
Prudence is advised
The journeyman’s dance
Wandering, anchorless, drift
Home is in the heart
Broken down, thrown out
Rejected, trampled upon
Bumps along the way
There it is again
That pesky flicker of rage
Release or contain?

"Syllable math is fun!” - I agree!
Your haikus are appealing and thoughtful.
Pretty cool!
